Mini Pill and Period

oy! I thought that I wasn't supposed to get my period on the mini-pill. WTF?! I'm 2 months PP, today, and started my period on Sat or Sun. And it's WICKED heavy. Holy moly. I'm breastfeeding and the dr. told me even without BC I probably wouldn't get pregnant b/c of nightime nursing- the prolactin levels would be very high. I know that no BC is ever 100% but are the chances higher that I will get pregnant because I am actually ovulating now? WTF. No more babies for me. Oy

I get my period every month on the mini-pill, but I didn't get my periods back until 5 months PP.

And as long as you take the pill at the same time every day (within an hour of the previous day) you will be fine.

I hate the mini-pill i have gotten pregnant twice on it! AUGHHHH!!! and i was BF bolth times WTF is right!

Nighttime nursing keeps the prolactin levels in your body high, which usually suppresses ovulation for 4-5 months. That's what she told me. I love my dr. She's a sweetheart, but for my next pregnancy Lord please let me have REAL insurance.

I set the alarm on my phone and take it every night around 9. My husband recored Jack SCREAMING and set it as the alarm sound on my phone. Now if that's not the best birth control ever, I don't know what is. Haha. I have never minded my period, they've never been that bad, but this one is Heavy and yucky. I wish I could be like my SIL, who hasn't hada period since April of '06 when she got pregnant with her first son. She just had a second baby 3 weeks after me and is getting Mirena next week. Bitch will never get another period.
