STRETCH MARKS & EXERCISE TYPE ?'s

SO, im 28 weeks n just wanna know whats going on with everyone so here are some questions! 
- when did you guys start getting stretch marks?
- what do you use to prevent them?
- do they actually go away once youve already got them?
- dont you feel soooo ugly with them??? ( lol sorry but i do! )
- do you guys know of any tricks or special techniques for stretch mark prevention and good exercise?
- how often do you guys exercise
- what type of exercise do you do?
- for how long do u guys exercise?
- is it necessary to drink water while exercising or is before and after fine?

* off topic, but, is prune juice and grapefruit juice OK to drink while pregnant?*

Excersise will do you some good for preparing for labor. I don't think its going to help prevent stretchmarks, since they are caused by the skin stretching. In time they do fade from reddish purple to kind of a silvery hue. Give it time after birth and they will be much less noticeable. I am not embarassed of mine, since there is nothing I can do about it. They are a part of me!

- when did you guys start getting stretch marks? I didn't get them until I was 35 weeks...

- what do you use to prevent them? Cocoa butter and pregnancy lotion. didn't work  

- do they actually go away once youve already got them? I am 3 weeks pp and still have them they are purple and horrible... they fade eventually

- dont you feel soooo ugly with them??? ( lol sorry but i do! ) yes

- do you guys know of any tricks or special techniques for stretch mark prevention and good exercise? no

- how often do you guys exercise? I had a c-section so I can't exercise yet but I usually do 4-5 times a week

- what type of exercise do you do? I jog

- for how long do u guys exercise? 30 mins

- is it necessary to drink water while exercising or is before and after fine? I drink it while exercising to keep me hydrated

Heck yeah just be prepared to poop something fierce lol
as for the stretch marks, they are genetic sadly, if you go them while going through puberty, more than likely you'll get them now, mine came no matter how much lotion I put on, different kinds, ect. their starting to fade now thankfully. I feel better about my marks now, my husband call them falling stars, they are my trophie for givign birth to my son and I'm proud of them..
Yoga is the best for when your pregnant, stretching is amazing!!!

I'm almost 36 weeks and I haven't got stretch marks yet! I've heard ALOT of ladies say on here thattheirs came out of nowhere at the very end! They say if your prone to them or if your mom got them then you most likely will. Everyone is different though. I am prone to them (got them on my hips from growth spurt when i was like12)and I've been lucky so far. I lube up twice a day with coco butter cream. Nothing is said to really prevent stretchies but it doesn't hurt to lube up anyway! It def helps/prevents itching. If you do itch try to avoid sractching. I hear that helps. As far as exercise I walked every evening in the beginning up and down my lane (it's hilly) but I had to stop because I kept getting really light headed and dizzy! So I've been pretty damn lazy. Those juices are fine to drink too in moderation.

- when did you guys start getting stretch marks? I got mine with my first pregnancy at about 38 weeks when I truly popped.
- what do you use to prevent them? I tried everything, but it is very genetic in my family.
- do they actually go away once youve already got them? they do not go away but they fade to your skin tone.
- dont you feel soooo ugly with them??? ( lol sorry but i do! ) I did until I realized how many other mommies have them and it is pretty average, and now I just do not care anymore.
- do you guys know of any tricks or special techniques for stretch mark prevention and good exercise? You can not prevent them but you can use vitamin e oil and almond oil to try to keep them at bay. And I love the eliptical machine at the gym and the pool for exercise.
- how often do you guys exercise I try to do something for at least 30 mins a day, but I have been so sick that it is not happening right now,lol
- what type of exercise do you do? either go for walks or go to the gym.

yes you can but it may make you go to the bathroom a lot,lol

I started getting stretch marks at 6 months and right now my skin just cant take it and im getting even more and i hate it. but bio oil works pretty good sometimes =\\
