hiccups

my son gets hiccups ALL the time, probably about 5-6 times a day. Aside from gripe water (which doesn't seem to help much) what do you do to soothe your baby when he or she gets hiccups? Because mine gets so upset when it happens, he hates it.

I just let him do his thing. It doesn't really bother me. I think it's hilarious when he does get them though, because he gets so angry and kicks me like that's going to help the hiccups go away lol. It's too cute.

my son screams and wails and then half the time he doesn't even realize they are gone and still continues to cry. it just makes me sad because i can't do anything about them!

Does your son take water yet? If he does then give him water to drink. It will stop the hiccups.

Oh woops. I didn't notice you already had your baby, I thought you were still pregnant.. Lol.

he's only 8 weeks old, when do you know when they're ready for water?

Hmmm... but really. Im not to sure but i dont really think there is anything you can do. I havent heard of anything at least.

I burp her and try to hold her close to me...or nurse.
