Food poisoning when pregnant sucks...

Ugh, I think I have food poisoning right now. I feel so sick....And it hit me that being sick normally sucks, but being sick, pregnant and stressing about it is 10 times worse!

Anyone else feel like colds/food poisoning/other sicknesses are worse when preggy?

Of course. Your immune system is weakened because all the resources in your body are going to your baby. So colds/flus/viruses/food poisoning, it all sucks even worse than usual.

I got food poisoning when I was 11 weeks pregnant with the newest one.

It was horrible, I Got it from Pizza Hut, and I couldn't eat for three days.

I ended up hospitalized.

Worst I've had so far was a major case of the squirts.. That SUCKED.

I had a friend who got salamonella (sp.?) during pregnancy and she said it was soooo terrible....

I just don't want to get dehydrated....

I had the flu when I was 3 months and I thought I was dying.

oh gosh i got it at 19 weeks and my husband witnessed me projectile vomiting for the first time hahah gross

I ate steak with bad A1 sauce on it.....I puked..maybe 12-13 times that night. It sucked so bad. My throat was definitely sore from all the acid. I couldn't eat properly for a few days. I never want to experience that again. Haven't had steak since.

EEW!! Projectile vomiting is sooo gross...that sucks!!1

Mine's mostly just diarrhea, but it sucks either way...And my husband's sick with a cold and sleeping right now, so I can't go whine at him...
