re: Help with weaning the bottle?

my daughter turned one on the 26th of sept she was completly off the bottel 4days before her birthday..give them lots of food an sippy cups i started her on sippys earlyr so i think that helped alot..she only wanted the bottel at night to make her fall asleep i was bad an gave her one to make her go to bed..now she crys for less then 5mins an is out im verry proud of her for doing soo great off the bottell..u can try warm whole milk in a sippy an see if he will take that throw him off an shake it a little bit to make him think its a bottel lol good luck!

Well I breastfed for 9 and 1/2 months. That was pretty easy weaning. I had no problem. But I know he likes to have a bottle before he goes to sleep so maybe I can start only giving it to him before a nap or bedtime. I think I'm gonna wait a little while longer though. Thanks ladies...
