My baby shower- few questions?

my babyshower is october 11th, coming around the corner! veryy veryy EXCITED! im sure all you ladies were tooo! i have about 50 people coming , well that said they wanted too and that i invited thats only including my friends and my family, my BD-BFs family is having me one some time at the end of october or first week of november.
did you ladies get alot of what your registered for?
did you get alot of things you wanted/needed?
did you have a great time?
did just about everyone show up that you invited?
do any of you ladies want to share some of your baby shower stories?
if so im ready to listen!

I had mine September 14th and not that many ppl were there. there were like maybe 13....anyway, I had a good time and got some nice things even though it wasn't that much.

my cousin annoyed me a little however cause she brought beer and was drinking it and all.......then, she was outside dancing with a guy she didn't even know (hell, I didn't even know him) and then she was gonna take some cake down to her boyfriend (who could have came down and got it himself cause he was at her house and she lives in the same complex and all)........and her boyfriend could have been nice and come down with her, but that's just my opinion. lol

but I'm over that now and I had fun and got to see some friends I haven't seen in a while.

also.....some ppl I invited said they were coming and didn't show

and some others didn't even get back to me or they were busy.

one good thing is you can have your one shower and then what you dont get you can ask for at your second one

i had mine sunday....i really didnt want to...i hated the idea of everyone looking at me while i open gifts...but it wasnt toooooo bad... alot of ppl came..i was surprised and got everything i needed.. now i just have to send ty cards.

my baby shower was beautiful! my mom threw it for me and it was at a nice inn, and there was a beautiful buffet brunch! tons of awesome food, all the people we invited came (except for maybe 2 or 3 people), and i got almost everything i registered for (even though i really didn't expect anyone to get stuff from the registry). it was great! not too big (maybe 15people), but everyone i wanted there was there.  

hmm i remember my first babyshower it didnt go as i thought it would that day ended up yo be cold and rainy.im having a babyshower for my second baby oct 19th and im so worried all the people that i invite wont show up,or like it would end up like my first babyshower.i invited about 40 people so far.when i registered i just put the things that i thought were inportant
