Un-Insured.

Okay I am around 5 1/2 monthes pregnant. No insurence and only seen the doctor when i was rushed to the hospital..My dad gets Blue Cross from his work in like three monthes which i canot wait that long to go see the doctor. I have found some planned parenthood centers in my area, but they dont do any pre-natel care. I was thinking to get a job with benifits, but in the economy in Michigan, its hard to find a job, especially when when your pregnant and 16. I need ideas, espeacially if you were in the same situation.

Medicaid?

Medicaid! You are the perfect candidate for it.

Medicaid...go apply NOW! your baby's health is too important. You just tell them your pregnant and need an application for medicaid.

You should really do the medicaid, like everyone else said. Drop by the county health dept. and they have the forms or print it off of your state site

Well yeah first thing i though was medicade, but My mom screwed that up for me. See she lost her other kids to cps. and i cant get medicade untill i am eighteen .

Just get on medicade and WIC like everyone else who doesnt have a job and gets pregnant young does. Or i heard babyyourbaby.com has programs.

I would double check to make sure that you aren't eligible, being pregnant should give you a special circumstance, if you want I can give you the number and you can call and ask a rep.

if you go down to the social services office. they will give u a pass to go see a doctor & that pass is good for 60 days. just tell them your pregnant and how far along you are. trust me they will give it to you!

If you'rer pregnant you CAN get it, despite whatever your mom did.

i would FIGHT MY ASS OFF to get medicaid if i were you! there is no sense in not trying, your baby's health is too important!! if that doesnt work out, just go to a clinic, i go to a clinic, and ive heard it really isnt that much.

Yeah your mom has nothing to do with you,
they wont refuse you if your pregnant, especially at your age.
My best friends little sister was just put on it.
Make an appt with them asap.
All you will need is like proof of where you live,
your income, which if you dont have one is better,
and some other things.
You can even apply for WIC which will help you
with food, formula and some other things.

youd most likely need the job 6 months in order to get your healthcare. but id try medicaid.

Normally I keep mymouth shut when people make comments like this. But really? I am on WIC andMedicaid and I have a job, didn't have my first child until I was almost 22.Is thisthe way I planned it? No. But shit happens. Your catty comments are no help.
