I would double check, but i believe they will cover up to 90 prior to acceptance. So you could go to the OB and send them the bill as long as it was within that amount of time. I would talk to an OB office or the direct line. They would be able to give you more accurate information.

The only one that's close to us is in NM which is like an hour away from our house. I didn't know they did that...I'll have to call them and see.

stop being a bitch, just because you are pissed at the system. We make $12,000/ yr, have no insurance for ourselves, and both attend school full time. Our parents pay our rent and we still have trouble with our other expenses. If it wasn't for having Medicaid we would be screwed because our son has asthma and he was in the hospital for 2 days. We plan on getting off of it as soon as we can but for now we need it.

oP what does your mother having her kids taken away have anything to do with you getting medicaid?

As for what is in your about me. You didn't try to prevent this and you knew the consequences so yes people are going to be harsh towards you. What super religious household would have their kids taken away?

What is medicaid? I probably sound like a tool for asking... my assumption is this has something to do with the US? I see people talking about it all the time and I'm starting to wonder if it's something I should be looking into or not, lol. Sorry if I sound dumb...
