he hasn't pooped..

in almost 3 days! the last time he pooped was early sunday morning, should i call the doctor? he's usually pretty regular but only poops like once a day... help please i'm worried  

btw he's 10 weeks old & i'm BFing

I've heard babies can go like a week without pooping and be fine. Just give a day or 2.

babies could go like 10 days without pooping, so dont be too concerned until its been about 7. you could call your pedi and make sure though!  

my son has a constipation problem and has ever since he was a baby he is 4 now all the dr is going to tell you to do is use a supository (sp?) it will help him go and it is completly safe if that doesnt help then call the dr and ask them what to do.

oh whew, thanks ladies i feel much better! i was freaking out, but if he doesn't go in a couple days i'll definately call the pedi

It is ok but you can try giving him an once or 2 of plain water daily. I know doctors say babies don't need it but it helps Kayden to poop, if I don't give him water he lasts days w.o going.
