my toddler did similar things to my nipples because she was doing some bad latching - it was easily corrected since i could reason with her. Maybe look into yeast infections or mastitis type stuff too ???

yep Cambria did the same thing. I just told her no more boobies if she was mean to mommies nipples. took occational reminding, but she did stop being mean

I would gues you do have some milk left. My daughter self weaned pretty much with the pregnancy before last and wanted nothing to do with it because of the taste apparently. I did end up loosing that baby and a month or so later she was asking to nurse again nad apparently didn't have a problem with the taste. I would guess your baby "knows" that your milk is changing and is now "ok" with it - I think they can smell the difference. Try it and see what happens????

Thanks, but there is definitely nothing left. I can't even squeeze anything out when I try
He's very smart too and speaks well and tells me there's "no breastmilk" but still wants to try lol
He hasn't asked for a few days so maybe it will end?

M really wants to not hurt me, she will unlatch and make a big wide mouth to try again, but it doesnt work anymore. I wonder if her latch is getting worse because she is reaching the age of weaning. She will be 4 in a couple of months. But I dont think she will wean.

Nettle is safe in pregnancy and can increase your milk supply, it also will help you better use the iron you take in since it is high in clorophyll so win win. You can take it in capsules or tea

He was ready to wean(I thought) and pretty much stopped with no fuss which is the most confusiung thing about why he's asking again all of a sudden. I'd love for him to pick up again once the colostrum comes in or once the baby's here
And my nipples aren't as sensitive anymore so I will try the tea!

Its really common for that to happen. And they nurse WAY MORE after the baby is born to.

I love it! Like completely. I have an amazing supply bc of it. And M helped me not be engorged after P was born. I can wake up and have M efficiently nurse when i need it. She has helped me with clogged ducts and breast pain. I dont leak... like at all. She can nurse the foremilk so p doesnt get sick with her reflux

That's awesome
Even if he doesn't start back up I'm planning on pumping and giving it to him especially if he's sick or something. I'm going to keep having more babies lol so I will definitely end up tandem bfing at least two or three times, and hopefully have a good milk supply going for the next 10 or so yrs.

Proudly still bf my 19 month old. I feel the same - some days I wish I were done and other days not so much. She's not a great nurser in public so shes limited to only at home in my bed. She doesn't get too much any more since it's dried up a lot but she can be in a foul mood one min and a few seconds even of boobie time and she's ready to take on the world again   How can I say no to that? Life is hard enough as it is! Tho the whole shirt lifting and yelling for boobie in public is a bit much!   lol

Yay for 19 months. Ha just wait until your child is 3 and shouts for boobie in public, awesomely embarrassing if you're modest like me!
