yes. that's happened a couple times with me as well. Finn went through a growth spurt at around 24m and did that.

I breastfed my daughter until she was 16months. I wasn't keen on weaning her but found that she was using me more as a comfort than anything else. I decided one day to just not give her the breast and gave her a sippy cup of warm milk instead. Day one she woke up in the night and found she actually didn't want to feed. The next night I got a full night's sleep and she's slept like a dream ever since. It was heartbreaking to let go but I'm glad I did it when she was ready, as well as finally getting restful nights! xx

I feel your pain. Mine does the same and will maybe drink 2 or 3 ounces of milk if I put chocolate in. At least she drinks some water now too. Everyone gives me smurf when they ask how she sleeps and I tell them she wakes me up every 2 hours still. I've honestly tried but we sleep in the same room and she knows I'm there so she screams.

We do for part of the night. It took a long time but we got it so she will fall asleep in her own bed after nursing between 8-9 and when she wakes up at 10-11 SO comforts her and puts her back without me nursing but then she's back up by 12-1 so I maybe get 30 minutes of sleep before she starts her every hour or 2 waking and screaming and I end up just passing out with her on the boob or if I manage to stay awake I sneak her back into her bed but she's up within 2 hours again.

She just really needs to have her own room, I think if she can't see us then she will just go back to sleep but SO is taking his sweet time paying off his debt so we can't move until he gets that sorted out.

we co-sleep and still do, but I've just transferred him to a mattress by our bed (he's 27m) and he's taken it so well. Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do, but if you can wait until they are ready, it's so easy, it's wonderful! lol

my son doesnt drink cows milk, but his pedi said its fine as long as he eats a lot of cheese and yogurt(which he does).
You have to just tell him no and get him back to sleep. I thought mine would scream forever but after a minute or two he would accept it and go back to sleep. I was shocked! Now he sleeps all night and it only took a week or two for him to stop asking for it
