Wont they issue you a card too with your name ?
When I put my husband on my checking account they sent him a debit card with his name.

That's what I figured would have been done, but I never got anything.

No freakin joke. They wont do anything to me without havin a certain POA. I was like dude how am I suppose to get one when my husband is freakin deployed. So Im going to thank show them what I read and take all the money out cuz I have bills to pay. UGHH. soo much crap I hate it.

They should accept the POA, but they don't have to. Is it a general POA or a specific? If it's general, you may have to have your hubby send you a specific and send you the debit card!!
Does the bank allow online tranfers to other banks?? I know with Navy Fed I can log into my husbands (and mine) account and transfer money to our other bank account. That could always be an option!

The bank should accept his POA to add you to the account..
If they want to continue to be a hassle, talk to him about opening another account somewhere else and having his checks deposited there instead.. It's pretty easy to change direct deposit information through mypay.
You can open a new account with both of your information on it with a POA..
I opened a second account with mine and my hubby's name it for our daughter with his POA..

Well they wont let me add myself on there...but he wrote another one up and sending it so should be here soon but I wanted to know if that lil statement up there meant I can go and take money out today

With my husbands account. I wasnt added to the account. Unless they are physically there you cant be added. But, they should accept your general POA. it has to be approved by someone, it could take a couple of days. Once the POA is on file you are allowed to take money out. I was able to cash my husbands check and take money out of his account without being put on there. His bank is in Texas and he lives in NC. I know for certain stuff like, Marine FCU i had to send a copy that was notarized to get information about his car loan. So they might want that. I would call someone above the bank and ask.

I have an POA on file at my bank and they also have a copy of his orders so they know he is deployed... I also use to work at that bank, so they are a little nicer to me.
Actually because the POA is a legal document, the bank does have to honor it. They have to honor ALL legal documents.
