sharing a bedroom with baby...who else is doing it?

posted 29th Sep
So Im due in 9 weeks and the fiance and I are fixing to move into a new apt that's a one bedroom. It's not tiny, but it's small. I know it's gonna be cramped, but I really don't see it being all that bad while he's really young. Who else is in this boat, and how does it work for you? Any suggestions? I was planning on putting his bassinet in the bedroom with us anyway, Im just wondering how its working for others who just have one bedroom. I'm hoping it doesn't affect *ahem* you know, the sex life too much down the road! Guess we can always go to the living room! lol

i live with my grandma while my husband is in training.

it sucks some times.
it really really does.
but sometimes its good cause i feel like i get to experience things with my son that other moms dont. like those first early morning giggles!

My son slept in a bassinet next to my side of the bed for the first 8 months of his life. Only when he was too big for the bassinet did I move him to his crib in the nursery. Our sex life wasn't affected.

My son and i shared a room till he was 7 months.
Then hubby came home and we moved.
So he had a room but still slept with us.
The finally after he weened himself he went to his own room!
But we wont be sharing rooms..my son and daughter will be.
I think ill give it a few months bf i put her in the crib in the bedrom with him.
So he isnt shocked and so i can keep an eye on her, while she is in the Bassinet!
