re: babyshower question

Yeah I can see if he said that he'd be bored & didn't want to go.. but he really really wants to be.. he went to his first daughters babyshower & he said he wasn't bored, but he was told he can't go.. & that sucks!! I won't know half the people there!!  

you should just tell the person thats throwing you the shower that he is going to be there and that you would feel more confortable with him there.

Aw well that sucks ass that its difficult like that. You guys should be able to spend that day together

I want my fiance to drop me off at my baby shower (At my moms), but I doubt he'd want to be there... My mom would probably be all "NO MEN ALLOWED" anyways.

My husband was with me at mine but I had a huge shower and even invited some of my guy friends lol I had my husband,my brother,my father-in-law,and 2 guy friends lol so I had quit a few guys at mine lol

Just agree with her and then just bring him along lol what can she do kick you out of your own shower cause she didnt want you to bring your hubby? I doubt it lol

lol it's at her house though i'd feel disrespectful.. idk what to do i'm going to try real hard 2 talk it out with her.. but I don't want her to think i'm acting childish & am going to act like that until i get my way...   i just feel like its wrong it's not only my baby it's his baby too it makes no sense to me idkk.. & i should be the one who chooses who goes & who doesn't!! she's just there to help decorate & pay for stuff, right?

Well since it is your baby shower it is ultimately up to you. I couldn't imagine not having my husband at mine he sat in a chair right next to me and we took turns on opening gifts and he was equally excited about all the stuff we got he didnt participate in games or anything but it was awesome having him there. I dont know the character of the person who is throwing your shower but maybe if you explain to her that you really want him there she wont have a problem with it.

well with my son I had a HUGE babyshower...and it was guys and girls! I wanted everyone to be there! lol we had about 100 people there...my parents are big on parties! we had horseshoes and darts so the guys wouldn't get bored! I loved itbecause my husband was so happy to be there...he helped me open all the presents and he even got into the games....A lot of the guys did! haha This time with my daughter I want it guys and girls again...just not as big!

Typically it's just a girl thing but these days men are coming alot more often, even if you don't do an all out coed shower i've noticed alot of men going -- i'm having a coed shower my fiance (( and his male friends )) can't wait to be involved and play some baby games! My sons father was not at his baby shower and i felt very lonely and out of place..like hey i'm not in this alone where are you!?

I am having my baby shower be co-ed.. I think it will be more fun.

Im having a Jack and Jill shower...my Hubby is going to b there and were plaing some of the party ourselve and his family is helping.........i love the fact hes gonna be there and some of his buddys are commnt to......its fun

My fiance did not come to my baby shower, he said it was a girl thing and at first I was upset about it, but when it came down to the day, I am happy he didn't come because he would have been really uncomfortable. He didn't know half the people that showed up! lol
