Anyone have a S/O sit time?

I have some questions if there are any mommies on here who's S/O have spent any time in jail and/or prison... not going to go into detail in this forum, so if so, reply here or PM me. Thanks.

mine when he was younger .... last time he was in he had got out a few months before i met him......... I had to shut all the bullshit activity down and he knows I am gone the second he goes back.

My hubby did jail time twice, once for breaking an entering when he was younger and a PFA violation last year. Nothing big. lol. I like the time away, it's like a vacation!

For those of you who are being smart asses about this, don't even come in the post than. I have serious questions for serious reasons, if you have something to say - say it somewhere else. Don't get smart until you know the situation, and if you'd like to know, ask I will tell you, but I wasn't going to try writing it all out in a post because it would have been forever long.

Yeah this isn't a "big" issue (depending on what some consider big, I guess) and the shit he's sitting for is from when he was younger... the situation between us is complicated... which is why I didn't type out the whole story. Just had ?s for mommies who have been thru shit like that.

My ex was in too many times to count on numerous differant things. From Child support to breaking his probation rules and so on. He was on parole in WI when he moved to IN and they never figured itout.So what sort of questions do you have.

Oh, lmao. I was confused for a second.

All right, here's the situation summed up, the guy in question and I dated before (in 02-03) - everyone warned me this kid gets into trouble blah blah. Well he was young (1  and fucking stupid. Instead of learning not to do dumb shit, he just kept fucking off. Basically the "I'm invisible" attitude, thought none of it would ever catch up with him. I'm talking, pot...breaking/entering, theft (some friends and him broke into an abandoned house...idiots, he took the wrap), eventually everything did catch up with him. I broke up with him well before he got put in prison because I wasn't going to deal with it. After he got locked up we started talking, writing/phone, this continued until I finally went to visit him the beginning of this year. I really care about him, and he really cares about me (and the three kids I've had since he's been sitting in there... ) He knows that I have changed and that obviously I have three little people depend on me. He gets out in less than a year and wants to know what I am going to do with my life. Meaning is he going to be part of it or not. To some this may sound selfish and idiotic, but I can't see life without him yet at that very same time... I worry what kind of life I can have with him. I know how people are when some one with a felony is looking for a job. I've witnessed it before, so my question for all you girls especially those who have went through someone with prison time is, how easy is it to have a 'normal' life once they've gotten out??? Or is that something that doesn't exist?
