No pain contractions...Help

This is my 5th child. I am due on Oct. 1st. For the past hour I have been having contractions with no pain. I feel the tension coming from each side of my stomach towards the middle but no pain. Has anyone had this and if so was did it end up being real labor?. I am so close to my due date I wouldn't think it would be braxton hicks..

i had that with my last son.. but he was my 7th.. so yeah.. our uturus are a little warn out.. i was fully dialated.. when i got to the hospital.. i only FELT 2 contractions.. then all the weird PAIN for like them dropping down.. or kicking the cervix.. and making my leg cramp.. so i went in and little to my surprise.. she checkd me and said.. DO u know your 10cm .. i was like WHAT.. and i didnt have the urge to push.. or anything.. til the baby hit that spot where your body just takes over..

I had no pain from the contractions I felt with my son but that was preterm labour which I've heard can sometimes happen cuz it's so different. Sorry - I don't know if that helps, but I think it certainly could be contractions.

I was hoping for better answers, I get contractions with no pain too. This is my 3rd, I don't think its anything. I've been getting the same kind of contractions for a while now. I get a pelvic exam next week for the first time. I doubt I am dilated, but everyone is different.
