I loved my epi! I didn't even really feel it. The worst part was having to stay in a tucked position during a terrible contraction without moving! that was the worst part, but soon I couldn't feel aaaannnnyyyyttthhiiinnnggg...
ahhh loved it!

Yeah, It wasn't as bad as I expected either. I mean it wasn't enjoyable by any means...The only thing I had discomfort with was afterwards....My back KILLED. Esp. if I got up real fast or something. Is that normal?

.........uhm, yeah. The needle to numb you stings but the epi doesn't hurt whatsoever.

I think both times I was so sidetracked by the contractions that even though it might have been uncomfortable, it wasn't so bad that I still remember it. I think that is God's gift to moms is the ability to forget how bad the pain is. If we all remembered the pain, we would probably only ever have kids once, lol.

I wish they had numbed my back first! I thought I was going to die when they did mine. It hurt SOOO bad, and then to top it off, the damn thing didn't work! So, I think they just did mine wrong. Especially since most people do say that their's did not hurt at all.

I didnt want one, and I didnt get one. People make it out to be so necessary. Its not. lol. If it freaks you out then look into other options!
