Do you think it's a bad time?

I need a little help as to when I should have the baby shower. If I have it when I'm 7 months that will be around Christmas time and I know it's hard enough for people around that time as it is and I don't want them to have to spend anymore then they already have to on Christmas SO my question is......Would it be too soon to have it in November? I'm due Feb.16th

go for it...people will thank you! i am due jan 2 and am having mine the first or second saturday in nov..

My cousin had hers in june and was due in sept. I think it's ok!

Why not have it in January?

maybe more like january...that just me, they had mine about a week and a half before i was due..and i had her 2 and a half weeks early, witch was fine for me but a month before is standard-ish i though.

I am having my shower on November 9th. I think its a good idea so you don't run into the holidays.

i'd have it in november before all the holidays

its definitly not too soon. its better you do it before the holidays rather than after cuz then people will be broke and wont have much money to buy you gifts or to travel to get there. 

I went through the same dilemma. I decided to wait until Jan when I'm really showing.

It was cutting it close, but I liked having it RIGHT before Camden got here (8th) because I didn't have time to sit around and look at all of her stuff and stress about when she was gonna come.
