is this something i should be concerned about?

i primarily formula feed, but every chance i get i breastfeed. well, sometimes if my baby sleeps in my bed or if i'm not quick enough to get the boob out for him, he reaches up and twists my nipple. i mean hard, not just a little tug. should i ask his doctor about this? about 15 minutes ago he did it so hard i was in tears. he's only 4 months, so i doubt he "learned" this anywhere

he probably doesnt even know what hes doing...

No...what would you be "concerned" about?  He just wants to nurse

lucky shes not a boy...i swear he is going to pull them off sometimes...lol

That is where the meal is coming from, and it's not coming fast enough... so he tries to make it come faster...

when i ly down with my 4 months old at night to BF he slaps me in the face repeatedly until he falls aslepp...he also "sings" to my boobs...it hilarious!

It's just because he's so hungry he's to the point of being frantic.. so he's trying to grab onto anything in a frenzy if that makes sense.. my little girl does it too sometimes..

he kicks me in my pelvic bone until he goes to sleep. thought that would end after pregnancy lol

lol i hear that. he's been a kicker since day one. if you look at his legs they look chunky. but it's pretty much all muscle.his doctor was surprised at how much muscle tone he has already.
