my dr. has not even discussed it and ill be 38 weeks on thursdayyy...
she wouldent even check me i had to TELL her to check me...


maybe shes just dumb?!?!? l0l

yes they are supposed to give you an estimate
what about at your u/s did they tell you anything?
and i know at 37 weeks they are supposed to check you to see what progress if any you have

My doc never told me my babies weight because it is hard to tell, it is all aprox anyways.

my dr. told me my baby was approx 8lbs 15oz turned out she was only 7lbs 13oz way off, it's all approx what's the point in getting freakeds out about the weight of the baby and what has to come out of you when it may not be right in the first place?

i had to ask my dr. to check me. she checked me at 35 weeks during my group b strep test and told me they dont normally check til after im due or during labor but i would ask her at every appointment and didnt hesitate. maybe your dr. is like mine? and my dr. told me around 38 weeks that kailey was 6.5-7 lbs... a week later kailey was born at 6lbs 8oz. i thought i was gonna have a 9 lber!! i wouldnt worry about it too much

ha ha at the 20 week u/s all they told me was the baby was measuring fine and it was a girl... and at my 36 week appointment i had already lost my mucus plug and she wouldent check me so at my 37 week she checked me.. i think i need a new dr. but its kindaa a lil late

thats strange...
well i guess the only thing to do if she doesnt is go to the hospital and tell them your in pain or feel pressure so they can check you..
i know it not something anyone wants to do but if she isnt answering your questions about your progress if any then i would go to l&d
