miscarried at 20 weeks

Hi There
Its been a week since I lost my baby, I was 20 weeks pregnant and was going for my scan to my shock they tell me the baby is measuring a little smaller than 220 weeks and my fluid was very low I just went into a panic they sent me to a high risk place where they told me that my baby would proberbly not make it till next week the kidneys looked larger I was so upset I did not want to let him or her go I had to wait a week till I went in to have aDNC I then after taking meds went into labor had the baby and then went in for a DNC it was really hard and its only been a week my milk came in and I just feel horrible I want to be pregnant again now but now that I have to wait in order for it to be safe, I need to heal I cant believe this I have had three healthy pregnancys and this shocked us Im so upset has anyone else had this experience/

We lost our baby at 22 wks. I am so sorry for your loss. We went in for a sonogram three days before I started bleeding and having contractions. I had done no extrenious activity, they said that things just happen and they couldn't tell me the specifics unless they did an autopsy. Did you receive a death certificate?

I know that it doesn't seem like it now but it will get better with time. You won't get over it but you will learn to live with it. In your own time. Right now you need to take the time to heal physically and emotionally.
I have given birth to my sons much to early and still grieve for them every day.

We lost our son at 23 weeks, and I know when the milk comes in it is just another physically painful reminder that your baby is not here...

Try wearing a snug fitting sports bra, and put ice on them for as long as you can stand it.. And touch them as little as possible...

first let me say im sorry for ur loss and i lost my baby when i was 18 weeks pregnant. I had to go into labor and have him it was the most horrible thing i have ever had to go through and it only happen like 2 1/2 weeks ago. I kno what ur saying about wanting to be preggo again cause i do to. and when ur milk comes in (mine also did) u feel so terrible and i just wish that my lil baby was here so i could feed him. Well i just wanted to let u kno ur not alone in this and u can talk to me about it if u need to.
