DD was for about 8 weeks. I never had to turn anything in or anything, and I'm in WV.

yesterday we were watching a lil bit of sid the science kid. I came in when they were showing the grandma go in to sids class room and say the she is a nurse, and has been for 37 years! well then the teachers says, sids grandma brought the flu vaccinations for everyone!....WTF is going on there?? i just turned that smurf off.

IDK if that's the same episode, but in one there was a puke worthy flu vaccine song   Actually, if you dig through OLD topics of mine, you'll find a D&D about it

Oh God I hate that episode!! So ridiculous. I can't remember if it's that episode or another but there's a line where Sid actually says something like "Our parents give us shots because they love us and that's what you have to do to stay healthy". Get in their heads while they're young, I guess!

Haha I remember that Episode coming on Netflix, I refused to allow my kids watch it.

My work (Rite Aid). We just had a big wig come in and give us pins saying "Big Shot" since we met our flu shot quota. I refuse to wear it

Can y'all give me info on what the HiB, Dtap, and PCV13 shots are for???? Trying to decide what DD2 should get out of these, if any. I've never even HEARD of PCV13.....wtf? Is it new?? I already decided that she's not getting Polio, HepB (until she's of age to have sexual relations), or Rotavirus. She's 9 weeks old.

Can anyone tell me the laws on a doctor asking what religion you are if you have a religious exemption from vaccines? E.R. Dr told me that he does NOT know of ANY religion that do not allow vaccines. If it's not illegal for them to ask what's a good answer to give them besides shove it up your smurfing @$$ you're not touching my child?

Look up each disease and vaccine...

Hib covers hib ( influenza meningitis)
Pc13 covers 13 strands of pneumoccocal meningitis
DtaP covers Diptheria, tetanus, and pertussis

Personally I chose not to give Pc13 or DtaP because I have close friebds who had adverse reactions....and I never had meningitis vaccines....DtaP is a failing vaccine against pertussis....there are new mutated strands out now.


If you breastfeed you dont need to worry about Hib either...it gives like 10 years protection.
