what is better?

Ok well a few days ago I decided to start using my treadmill...
the first 2 days I jogged 1km 3 times a day then 1 km a day for 2 days
I was originally jogging/running it in just over 8 mins and got down to under 7 mins...

my question is..
when trying to lose flab off your stomach, thighsetc ... is it better do try and run a distance in a faster time or take a longer time walking but going further???

A lower intensity for a longer period of time is what you want for burning fat. Once you raise your heartrate too high, you start burning muscle and doing cardio training, which is good to build your endurance, but its not gonna take fat off like long slower distances will!
