Any mommies who are/were overdue...

Are there any mommies who were 10+ days overdue? Tomorrow will be my 10th day overdue without my baby boy here and I'm not being induced until Thursday the 25th. I don't think I'm going to go on my own. I'm 100% effaced and only 1.5 cms as of Friday. I haven't had a single contraction or any other sign of labor except for back ache. I'm just getting frustrated and need people to relate to. I want to hear about your experience please...like what you did to pass time or how your emotions were (because mine are out of whack!). Thanks girls!

I went 8 days overdue with my first pregnancy before they induced me. I just had my baby, she was overdue by 5 days I'm sorry that you are overdue that much I could not imagine. Just think that in a few days you will see your baby boy, that's what always kept me going knowing it would be over soon

I went 12 days overdue with my son. I was induced on the 11th day and didn't have him till the 12th.
It was hell and I wanted to die. I was in the worst mood ever.. and couldn't do anything. I wouldn't wish that on anyone! I just floated through the days though.. I cleaned tons.. and went for walks.
I was 4cm dilated , but still I didnt have any contractions on my own or anything.
They broke my water in the hospital.. still nothing. Hooked me up to pitocin, and had to up it before it started working. My son got stuck on his way out, and was stuck with his head on my pubic bone for 4 and half hours. My labor was 14 and a half hours, so if he hadn't gotten stuck it would have only been like 10.
He was born at 9lbs 3oz.. and VERY healthy.
I was glad he stayed in that extra bit cause of how healthy he was

A month?! I couldn't even imagine it. I think I'd have already made an attempt to get my kid out myself by then. LOL. 9 days is bad enough!

That's one thing I'm grateful for...that he'll be healthy because he's been in there for nearly a year! LOL. I just hope the induction process doesn't take that long. I don't understand why my body just isn't working for me. I'm with you on that because I'd never wish this on anybody. It's ridiculous.

I was over due with both of my boys. My oldest was due 03.27.96 but didnt come out til 04.02.96. I went into labor on my own. My next one was due 09.10.03 (my husbands bday) but he WAITED! and didnt come out til 09.22.03. Im hoping I dont have to go thru this again but with my luck ha this one will be a month late! LoL Good luck!
