god damn

my nipples are sore! why is it everyone warns you about labor pain and the pp bleeding and crap! but not how sore your god damn nipples can get while BFing!? 
thank god it really only happens the first 5 seconds or so... BTW...my tip to get over that, picture yourself in Hawii on a hammock feeding your baby! =)

...real quick, how long did everyones soreness last!? ...

Mine lasted about 3 weeks but my daughter was a bad latcher.
I just used to put some hindmilk on my nipples and rub it in when i was finished a feed and that would keep them soft for the next feed

I believe the first 2 or 3weeksfor me a and then every now and then when he gets a bad latch. It sucks i wish someone woulda told me about it b4 hand to lol. I was not expecting it to hurt as bad. But my son is now 10 weeks old and i am still breastfeeding even tho i thought i was going to give up the 1st week.

my nips were hamberger and it lasted a month. Anyone who says that "if you are doing it right it won't hurt" is LYING. My kid was latched correctly everytime and my nips were LITERALLY hamberger for a month - I was even using a nipple sheild. I feel your pain

Use Lansinoh.. mine dont hurt anymore, just use it after every feeding and you dont even have to wipe it off when your done, its totally safe for the baby, you can even use it as lip balm my nurse said haha.. i mean, i still get that pinch in the beginning, but now its all better =]
