Toddler Bed

Ok so I just put my daughters new toddler bed up today and im really nervous she has already tried jumping on the bed and so now im nervous she is going to wake up in the middle of the night do it and fall and hurt herself can anyone tell me how long it took there toddler to finally gget used to the bed cuause i need help im probably not going to sleep at all tonight HELP!

That's so funny. I acutally NEVER had that problem....but his toddler bed is in the shape of a boat and really low to the ground. I mean I guess bc it's the "first" night in the big girl bed you could kinda stay in there with her on the floor or something just to see how she reacts to the bed. Just to make yourself feel better about it.

Is she really ready for a toddler bed yet? If she is you shouldn't have a problem. The jumping was probably just excitement over the new bed. My son has been in his toddler bed for almost a year and has slept fine and never fallen out. She'll be just fine.

Usually two-three weeks.

Studies show that if you do something continuously for three weeks straight it becomes habit.

So i would think no longer than that.

Just tell her she has to stay in bed to be safe.If all else fails bribe her like I do with my 2 year old-"Stay in bed all night and we will watch a movie tommorrow, if not no movie" and stick to your guns.Good luck!
