Update...I just talked to my cousin and she was able to get back to the house. It isn't a total loss but she can't see how much damage or smoke damage there is b/c there is no power. But the best news is her pets are OK!!!! She just got them out of their and I just called a hotel down there to give her a place to stay for at least a few days.

Oh Ashley - I'm so sorry to hear about that but I am so glad you had the strength (even if you don't feel it right now) to get out of the situation and know that you and the kids deserve a better life. I'll be thinking of you.

I seriously couldn't be happier for ANYONE to be preggo right now. I actually got choked up when I was telling my sister all you had to go through and how you finally have a little bean.

Ahh. & My news for the day:
Todd's decided to FINALLY go through with the AF. He's spent a good few hours down at the recruiter's office today, and we have a list of things we need to get together before next week when he's supposed to take his test.

He dropped the ball last time. We had a HORRIBLE recruiter in TN. HORRIBLE, I tell you.. so Todd got discouraged and just let it all slide. Due to recent events, he's decided that it's something he does REALLY want to do and decided to pursue it again.

I still have mixed feelings about it. I havent told anyone yet, aside from my sister, the Kitch clan and you guys now. I'm excited, but I feel like now that I've finally got settled down and back around all the people I grew up with.. NOW he wants to do it and rip me from all that AGAIN. It'll be for the best, I know. I guess it's just something I have to get used to. Meh. I guess I have enough time to get used to the idea if it all works out this time around.

I think my biggest problem is he really didn't talk to me about it. I mean, he did and didn't. We tossed the idea around a couple of times, but then today he just up & went down there. Comes home with all this paper work to fill out, paper work about paper work we need to order, talking about taking his test next week.
Maybe it's just moving too fast for me. Who knows.

That's a HUGE step for him to take without talking to you officially. Do you agree with it or are you worried??

A little bit of both, actually. Part of me agrees with it.. I know in the end it would be for the best. For so many different reasons. But at the same time, I have SO many worries. Some of them aren't that practical, but I guess I'm a worrier by nature. It's what I do. And I have 4 ulcers to prove that! ahaha

I think I would worry more than I would be happy. BUT I think that's the normal reaction.

i am right now. I keep having random little worries over weird stuff. I guess I need to just sit back and wait and see what happens before I let myself start stressing over little things. However, that's MUCH easier said than done.
