sponge bath QUESTION!! please read, i need advice...

Well, my Kara Bear is now a week old! =) YAY! .. lol, i would like to give her a sponge bath, because 1, she is kinda stinky... lol, well not stinky, just not "FRESH" smelling anymore... and 2, her stump has not fallen off yet... now i have all the baby shampoo, and body wash, and oil, what can i use!? ... also, how warm should the water be!? also, how should i wash the hair!? ... answers ASAP would help! =) ima try to do it while she is in a good mood =D thanks! ps... any tips!? ...

I thought that said Sponge Bob at first haha. Just warm water would be good. Feel it and just make sure it's good. You can use a cup for her hair.

You aren't supposed to use anything except water until their belly button thing falls off, just use a washcloth and clean them.

Wash her hair Yes, its better to hold her in the football hold to wash hair, over a sink. Nice luke warm water, for both bath and washing hair. You can use shampoo, baby bath soap. I assume you know not to wet the cord stump b/c your doing the sponge bath instead of regular bath, you just have tobath the areas around it.hope that helps a bit, Congrads on the new baby!

My prenatalinsrtuctor saidnotto use baby oil because it can clog her pores, or something like that.. and for the water, test it on the inside of your wrist and it should be just abit warmer than room temp.
