They found my baby's at 8 weeks, but everyone's different. Have you still been having symptoms?

IMO they should have done a vaginal u/s to find it. I can't say that is normal. At 11 weeks a heartbeat should be easily detected.

Can you maybe request a Level 2 ultrasound? That would be more accurate.

thats strange. Did they say why? Did they tell you if the baby was ok? I heard my babys heartbeat at 12 weeks.

If they were trying with that little doppler thing, then yes totally normal. My dr almost sent me in for an ultrasound at 8 weeks bc they couldn't find one for my baby. He said it was totally normal until you were bigger for them to not be able to find one with a doppler.

they got mine's heartbeat on the ultrasound at 8 weeks 3 days and 10 weeks 3 days, but they first tried the doppler at my 10 week 3 day appt. and couldn't get it, that's why they went ahead and did another ultrasound, and then at my 12 weeks 3 days appt, they got the baby's heart beat on the doppler.

Have you went for your ultrasound yet? Did they show you the baby's heartbeat?

Oh, if it was just the doppler then that's nothing to worry about, mama. I'm sure your baby's fine. I was so happy when I saw her on an ultrasound for the first time. I like, turned to mush, lol.

If the doc is not worried I wouldn't be panicing yet. If they however can not detect the heartbeat at your ultrasound, then I'd be worried. Sometimes its hard for a doctor to find a heartbeat with a doppler early in pregnancy. But if they cannot see the little heart beating on a ultrasound, I'd be freaking.
