When will I stop bleeding?

I will be 3 weeks PP tomorrow and Im still bleeding. I think the dr said I could bleed up to 6 weeks but I dont remember. Will it stop anytime soon cause I hate wearing these pads everyday!

You can bleed for months afterwards. You'll stop when you run out.  

I bled for 5 weeks   It can last 6 weeks, sometimes longer. All depends on your body!

Ugh..this is the only reason I wanna stay pregnant...lol. I hope it stops for you soon, my friend bled for almost 7 weeks before it finally stopped.

I bleed for a month and spotted for another 3 weeks. goodluck!

im still wearing pads... its not blood for me anymore tho.. just that yellowy dishcharge that comes after the blood. its slowly but surely getting less and less.. im hoping by my 6week appt next week it will all be gone!

ETA: im no longer breastfeeding, i dont know if that has anything to do with it, but it might... maybe.. i dunno..

My guess is the second Tuesday of December.


You can bleed for 6 weeks. Or 3. Or 8. Or have a PP period afer 4. Stock up in the pads now.

My baby is 7 weeks today and im still spotting.

I bled for almost 6 weeks. then got my period the day of my check up. Greaattttt. haha, hang in there.

Ha  I bled for 10 freekin weeks

My doc said up to six weeks. Mine has gotten less and less each day. When I was in the hospital I wore some adult diapers plus the pad they give you at the hospital. I was bleeding like a pig at a slaughter house!!!

There was once a girl here who changed her pad like every 15 minutes. Please don't go that crazy on us! It does have an end....promise.

I feel you!! I could not wait until 6 weeks to be able to put a tampon on!
