Scientists can figure out whats in the drinks, there's no gray area as to what it's made of.

The unknown certain mixes is crapola.

You quoted me, and said something about 2 cups of coffee doubling your risk of m/c.
Just thought I'd inform you that there was nothing to miscarry.

Did you even read any of the things I posted?
I get NOWHERE near the amount of caffeine that is "okay". And, even if I did, as long as my son didn't appear to be agitated by it, it wouldn't matter.

Yeah but you are allowed. You shouldn't get drunk then BF your child, same as preggers. But I was told by my doctor it was okay to have one drink while preggo- and one drink while BF. If you drink more than that you need to pump & dump.

jeeez, you dont gotta chew the woman out! being a mother is tough enough, especially after months or over a year lacking the morning cup o jo! but gee, back to topic here, i had an energy drink, a lemonaid rock star for the first time sense before i was pregnant, my son is 5 weeks old, so im pumping and dumping rightnow anywho cause im on pain meds for a complication from my epidural anyways, soooo i cant breast feed him at this point in time, so i treated myself, cause its an oppertune time to do so. but, point being, if your gonna have the caffine, and give the baby the milk after, its always best to stick with teas, or coffee at most. but the chemicals in energy drinks arent good for them. if you have one once in a while though, id say pump and dump while drinking lots of water for a day or two after you have the energy drink, and supliment with a good formula during that time.   hope this helps. its not bad to treat yourself once in a while, being a mom is a full time job, and tirering.

You are supposed to avoid caffine completly during your first trimester, but after that you can safely consume up to three 8oz cups of coffee per day during pregnancy , not that I would recomend it...

during the last 9 weeks of my pregnancy I was having non stop braxton hicks contactions so my midwife told me to drink wine. Its completely natural. I asked her if my baby would get fetal alcohol syndrome, she told me that babies who are born with that were born to mothers who drank several hard alcoholic drinks daily. My son was born completely healthy with no complications, She also advised me to have a glass or two of wine before breast feeding, it not only helps the milk come in but help baby sleep better too.

I have personally spoke to my dr and my 3 week old dr and 300mg of caffeine is correct per day.

Im exclusively breastfeeding, and I too have been curious about the energy drinks for the passed couple days. But I can't really find any reliable info on the internet. so I reckon, if I have any questions about whats good/safe for my Baby, we will be best off consulting His doctor. Thats probably what every one should do. :-)
