You could tell her parents all you want but until she makes up her mind that she doesnt want that anymore then nothing is going to stop her from being with him. Its a sick love kinda thing.

I mean I can only speak for myself but I know ifI knew my friend was getting her ass beat and i got a phone saying he killed her and the police were trying to investigate what happened.They would call me in for questioning and ask me if i knew about any physical violence,I would have to tell them yeah I knew but i kept it a secret.. yeah right !!Iwould do anything to help a friend especially ifI felt her life was in danger.

I couldnt live with myself knowing I didnt say anything....

I can understand why you would feel that, but I don't recall who made the original comment, but they seemed to think that someone would absolutely feel guilty over it - so I want to know why people think that every single person would feel guilty in that instance.

I personally would feel guilty for not speaking up. I don't know, I guess I'd have it in my mind that maybespeaking upcould have prevented it.
But, then again, even when people know about domestic violence it still doesn't prevent death in some cases.

You're absolutely right it doesnt prevent things happening in some cases , but I know If any of my friends parents (especially mothers) found out that I knew something like that and never toldIthink they would be mad and hurt. But I mean everyone is different. I'm very close with my friends mothers and we just have that type of relationship, and my friends have the same closeness with my mother.Me and my friends have already established if that ever happened we would tell on each other lol

Yea, I've never been one of those people to just sit on my hands.I have to speak up.
I would hope someone would say something to my family if that were happening to me. Of course my protective mafia looking father would kill someone if they hurt me.
I had a boyfriend in high school that he didn't like b/c I was like 16 and he was 22. My dad paid him a little visit.

Yea, my dad didn't do much talking....He went up to his work and told him to stay the hell away from his underage daughter or else!
My dad doesn't play-
I know, boys have that to deal with. But then again, if my son brings home a skank, it will be so hard for me to be good.
