So I know that some people think its not "okay" to take a baby trick-or-treating, because lets face it -they are not going to be the ones eating the candy. But its my daughter's first Halloween and I really want to get her dressed up and out to show other people. We live in an apartment so its not like we can stay home and pass out candy all dressed up. So I was thinking it wouldn't be so bad if we went with friends who also have older kids. What do you ladies think? Are you planning on taking your baby trick-or-treating?

YES YES do it.. sounds cute and think of all the cute pics you'll have! i'm taking my baby with my older kids this halloween

I'm not personally planning on doing it, but I don't think their is any harm in taking them.

look around to see if there is an indoor communiyt party that you can take your baby to! but my son was 5 months and we went with friends too!

Who cares if they cant eat the candy!? They get to get all dressed up and you get to show them off to everyone. Plus they get lots of fresh air. And WE get to eat the candy.. i havent been able to go trick or treating since i was 13 thats when my parents told me i couldnt go anymore.. im excited! i just dont know what caden should be yet. i cant decide!

I have an older son so I'm just taking the baby with us when we go trick or treating.

Well its just that some people turn their nose up to people trick or treating with babies. I just didn't want to do it if people were going to be upset about it.

Brooke will be almost a month old. She's bein taken on the 2nd and My birthday is Halloween so I go to 6 flags and trick or treating every year   She's goin to be in a glow in the dark onesie that says Babys first halloween

i took Kaylee to the Mall for halloween last year she was almost 3 months.. it was more for a show off factor.. this halloween im taking her out trick or treating.. not really for the candy (im not a big fan of candy my self i like a little bit here and there) but more to show her off.. like she is going to my job on halloween to show off to the residents in her little costume and i might take her around with my friend and her three kids but its all for the show off factor (she will be almost 15 months)

My daughter will be 9 months old and we are taking her with her aunt and uncle. *they are 8 and 9* I can't wait. and I love going out and seeing all the little babies dressed up. It's sooo cute!!!!!

P.s. Laykin is going to be a duck!!

Well I saw this really cute idea in my Parents magazine and I'm so excited to do it. You dress baby up like a hotdog, and make a sign that says "hotdogs 50cents". You put the sign on the stroller and mom & dad dress that hotdog venders. So the stroller ends up looking like a hotdog cart. It was such a cute idea and I can't wait to get it all together!!

We are waiting until Lorelai is about 5 before we start trick or treating. We are dressing her up this year, my fiance and I are dressing up as well. We are just going to go to houses of people that we know...no candy involved, haha. I am excited though.
