Uh, YEAH! I agree. That's the whole POINT to the system and the people who keep posting their vote OR asking everyone in the thread what to vote need to lose their mod status.

Do mods rotate? Or do we always keep our mod status?

you dont have to tell what you posted. maybe people might want to ask what other people think about a comment being blocked?

ok one thing i have an issue with is what if the OP is harassing people? they're not going to flag their own comments, and if it doesn't go to TDC I dont think it's fair for some ladies being harassed. does that make sense?

I never say, but everyone else keeps posting what they voted.

NO, there is nothing that says what each mod voted. And shouldn't be. But some mods post what they voted in the thread.

I have a suggestion.

I've noticed when OPs flag a post for a particular posterto be hidden from view, they sometimes choose a fairly tame post. Is it possible to tweak the system in such a way that when an OP is trying to hide all of the posts from a poster they can type in some information about why they would like to do so? This would make it easier, I think, on mods--while we'd still have to look back to verify, having some context for what we might be looking for would streamline the process somewhat.

And then you get the OPs who are harassing other people and DO flag their own comments just to cover their asses. And that's a waste of our time as mods.

in the thread? i would never post in the threads what i voted. if someone asked in here what we thought about something, then i would tell them what i did and why. other than that it is pretty much pointless to tell people what you voted.
