Quoting .chele.:" Not my fave stroller, but I really don't mind the Moodd...but, this limited edition is hideous. They should've put the print on the seat or canopy, not the actual frame IMO. "
Very ugly!

Sarah, and others who have worn their babies:
I'm seriously considering wearing baby in a carrier for like the first 6 months, because by then G will be 2 years and 8 months, and will probably be more ready for a board (maybe!!). Because when this baby comes, G will be two years and two and a half months old, but he's different. For one thing, he started walking at 19 months, so he definitely cannot walk when we're out, because he just cant walk fast enough, and he's really mischievious, controlling him inside is so hard, what will happen outside!! I mean he doesnt care where hes going, he has his own mind. We have to keep the outside door locked because he just runs out...thats probably what he'll do if I'm out shopping and leave the stroller to go get something...and plus I dont think he'd be able to stand that long...Sit n Stands dont exist here, so thats out of the question (although I dont know whether I'd get one anyway)... So, my husband does not agree with getting a double stroller, especially one that costs anywhere between 500-700 €. The cheaper ones will probably tick me off...lol...so I was thinking, its going to be winter anyway, and my winter coat is loose in me now (I recently lost 35 lbs before getting pregnant, so I bought that coat when I was 35 pounds heavier...) so I could carry baby under my coat, and use the GT for G? but my main question is, do babies start to feel heavy at 6 months? I have a bad back, so would I have a sore back shortly after carrying baby? I just dont want to buy a carrier and not use it, but I dont want to spend 500-700 € on a stroller that im going to use for maybe a year, but then I'm unsure whether I'd use it less or more? I dont know...my SIL still uses hers, and her eldest is almost 5, Aiza on the other hand stopped using a stroller at 3.5, I dont know when G will be old enough to stop using a stroller...and a board right now is just impossible...I know he wont be able to use it at this age...help me!!

isnt this ridiculous?!?! I was just wondering how much a BOB Revo single would cost here, just wanted to know cuz I saw a woman pushing one yesterday, I first checked the price of it in the US, and on Amazon I found it for $321. Here, it costs....
drums rolling...
843 €!!!!!!!! Which is §1,094!!!!! Can you imagine Chele and Irish, spending over $1000 on your BOBs?
Germany likes to rip us off!!!

That's insane! Is there anything sold over there that is comparable? Like BabyJogger or MountainBuggy...or are they really overpriced too?

I have the baby jogger GT and I paid 479 € ($621) for that, which is more than what the double costs over there. The double is 699 € ($907) here.
Even the City Mini Double is cheaper in the US than the single GT here...
Even the Mountain Buggy u can get from ebay for about $500...here they cost $842 converted...still not as huge of a difference compared to BOB and Baby Jogger...geez...I'm only afraid of paying lots of taxes to get a stroller imported, or else I would've gotten my uncle to send me something...hes in VA...
Strollers are so expensive here, my husbands telling me to look for a used double stroller, because usually u can get a good deal on a used one...a price which should be the price of a new one, but they like to jack them up here...

I just scored a Mountain Buggy Duo in Chocolate with accessories for 250€! ($323!!)
Its used, but in really good condition! It includes a carrycot, raincovers for both the seats and carrycot, a sun cover/mosquiito net, 2 Footmuffs, bumper bar, all original mountain buggy accessories...i feel so relieved! finding a double stroller was so stressful!
I know its heavy, but G is a big kid, and I needed something big to accomodate him! And a new Mountain Buggy, or Baby Jogger, costs wayyy too much!

Awesome. I really like the Mountain Buggy's & the chocolate is so pretty...they definitely have the coolest wheeled board. LOL

Those names are so unattractive, and so are their features...poor sibling in the Crusi...I hate inline strollers, the second seat rider seems like theyre stuck in a dungeon! i wonder how much theyll cost.
i personally didnt like the xplory either...the height was the only major selling point, and i found the stroller to be quite unstable and wobbly at the higher setting...i dunno i just didnt feel the love...i just think there are better strollers out there for less than that...i think bugaboo have been more siccessful in actually thinking about their product...

I need some ideas. I have always been crazy about strollers. My problem I always bought for looks and didn't think about ease of use etc...
So Since I am on number 3. I have been looking for the most lightweight option...
I want something that lies almost completely flat.
Something light weight.
Either travel system
or lightweight stroller compatible with travel system..
So far I found the Joovy Scooter(I love the Kooper but not carsear compatible).
I love that it is lightweight, and has a huge basket and also carseat compatible.
Problem I want it in black and have only found 1 Graco carseat to match that I like.(it it all black with a bit of purple.)
I have heard they were compatible with some other brands though. Anyone know which brands?
Any other stroller/carseat or travel system suggestions. I like my newborn facing me so non carseat compatible options are a no go.
I want to spend less $350. But preferably only $300.

is that your total budget, or upto $350 for just the stroller? Does it have to be a Graco car seat?

According to their site it's Graco only. But, if a Graco fits a Teutonia will fit [they have the CUTEST inserts]...
I'd suggest a Baby Jogger City Mini. Retail is $249, you can find them for as low as $189 though. Looks are, meh. But, they are very functional, light weight/compact, generous canopy, easiest fold ever and offered in Black. It has a near flat recline, but they sell a carrycot if you want something completely flat. It's also compatible with Peg Perego, Maxi Cosi, Chicco, Graco and Evenflo [it's a universal adapter & may fit other brands as well].

350 for everything. No it does not have to fit only Graco. I haven't purchased anything yet.

I am kinda excited about this...it's not pretty [I wish they had cute summer kits like Stokke], but looks PERFECT for the beach or long days at the zoo/amusement park...etc. AND it sounds like it's universal. So, this 1 canopy will fit all their strollers?!

do u think that would fit a bee? Isnt the Donkey monsterous compared to the Bee?
