Strep B test.......

so i have my strep B test on thursday, i didnt have it done with my son since i guess it showed up im my urin or something so they didnt have to do the test, any how i was wondering how this test is done? do they actually stick anything up your butt? lol sorry... just a little weirded out about anything going up there haha.

I had one todaY! its not even like a pap really... its just a simple swipe from your vagina to your rectum....it last only like 5seconds!!

I just had mines done. Felt like i was violated.   she first put it in your private and then in your butt. Very fast but still makes you feel violated.

It's a bacteria that can hurt the baby.

At least she didn't go from back to front.

Some doctors do, but mine didn't. It was way easier than a pap because they don't even use the duck bill! Just swoop and done.

i did mine myself... my dr gave me the choice she could do it or i could and i chose to do it myself.

Its like a pap swab.. you stick the swab (or they do) in your vaginal opening and swoosh it around and then you swab your butthole (how awkward)..
then i turned it in and i wait for the results its not that bad!

had one today. just like a pap but without the whatchamacallit they stick up there. it was done before i could blink!

so they actually do stick the swap in you? i have heard different things, that they just swap the area around your vag and your butt and others that they actually stick it in both areas.

deff went inside of me. only the vag area though. Maybe other Docs do it differently
