Ok So I feel Wierd...

posted 9th Sep
Maybe my body is just taking longer to wake-up, butI feel really dizzy and light headed, my limbs still have that tingle numb kind of feeling and the symptoms are worse as i suddenly get up. Last night around midnight I felt like this popping sensation, but there was no water gush, pain or contractions that followed soI passed it off as maybe I just popped a bone somewhere and it startled me out of REM. The baby is moving, but only slightly were as he is usually tossing and turnng kicking and squirming. I'm thinking I'll give myself a few hours to either feel the baby move and to see if my body might catch up it could be nothing right? Any thoughts on thingsI can do at work to encourage blood flow and fetal movement? Anything would be appreciated.

Do some gentle stretching and go for a wander.

It's perfect to get blood circulating ^^

I would call your doc just to check...but you can always drink something sweet and lie down to see if the baby starts moving more.

You knowI was sleeping so it was strong and loud enough in my head to jolt me out of REM so honestly I'm not sure.I had gone to bed at 7:30PM last night I was so tired for some reason and it woke me up around 12:00AM.

I had a major poping feeling at 29 wks that was my son very suddenly dropping and engaging because I was in preterm labour. It felt like someone had somehow just popped my pelvis apart. But I also felt a different kind of pop when I went into labour for the last time at term. It was something I could actually hear and felt like a balloon popping...that one ended up being my water. It is possible to pop your water from the top (my sister did) and not really have too much water leak out but it does constrict the amount of room the baby has to move. You may want to lie down for about half an hour and when you stand up see if anything comes out. If it was your water then something (even a little) should come out.

Well I did go back to sleep after and when I woke up again it was at 5:30 and only to pee I was half asleep lol so if anything leakedI wouldn't have noticed. Why can't these things happen when I'm awake! >.<

I would probably call L&D just to ask. Check and see if you have a fever cuz they'll want to know that.
