Question for the smart people only.. haha

Okay so I just got a call from my temp service. They asked if I was ready to go back to work and I said OH YES! I have been looking for a job for a while now, and this just so happened to fall into my lap thank god. It is for a place called Proctor Financial. I am only going to be doing secretarial type work.. but I would like to know a little bit about the company.
Im going to sound like an idiot  .. But could someone break it down for me what this actually means..

They insure banks and other companies which loan money. Basically, I think.

When a bank... make a loan they can get insurance through that company to protect them from loses that may occur. They also help compainies figure out what the risks of loaning to certain people would be.
