yeast infecton (without the discharge)

posted 7th Sep
what did you do to ease your baby's pain?

we found out that her "diaper rash" was really a yeast infection, & we got some anti fungal cream for it that i just started using literally 10 minutes ago.

but she is in alot of pain =\. i've been letting her have nakey time & i've been giving her warm bathes.

suggestions?

not even sure if this is a right suggestion, but because tylenol is a pain reliever, what about giving her maybe a half dose of tylenol?

i thought sitting in bath water promoted the growth of yeast

If she is able to have yogurt that works. It has something in it that fights off that infection.

My niece had the same thing...my SIL took her to the doctors and he gave her an anti-fungal cream too, I forgot what it was called, but it worked real good...we just changed her diaper more often, and give her warm baths...
