sick (vent)

I have a fever that is going up and down but hovering around 100 and I have no energy, every part of my body is sore and I'm sweating like mad but cold at the same time, and I have nausea and an upset stomach (diarrhea mostly) and my husband is at work. Usually this is the time I play with the baby so she will sleep in the night but I'm really scared to get near her, I change her diaper and feed her but then put her in the swing or bouncy. I don't want her getting whatever it is that I've got. I know it's not fair to my husband to let her sleep so much but I really don't have a lot of energy to carry her around and also I'm worried I'll make her sick no matter how much hand sanitizer I use.

Also her hands and feet are kind of clammy though her temperature is normal, and her poop was kind of liquidy. So she may very well be getting sick.

And tomorrow is my 30th birthday, happy birthday to me  

Are you not breastfeeding ?

If you are or pumping for that matter I wouldn't worry about it , the milk has immunities and if she gets what you have it won't be as bad for her .

No, I'm actually formula feeding. I hope everything will be ok. She just woke up and is super fussy. I hope my husband gets home early.

I hope so too , its no fun when everyone is feeling yucky .

Aw, yuck. Being sick is no fun. And worrying about your baby getting sick is even less fun. Maybe you just ate something bad and you're not actually carrying a bug?

I hope your husband gets home soon and you feel better. Take it easy!
