Cloth / Reusable Diapers

i've been thinking about switching over to cloth diapers.. i have no idea where to start. they have the all in ones, and the ones with inserts, and lord knows what other options there are. and there's sooo many brands, my goodness.
which brands do you use?

i checked out the gdiapers.. love the designs & things, but the replacements are expensive

I am a proud gDiaper user, too. It costs me $50 a month...I get the inserts off of diapers.com and I buy them by the box...I go through one box a month. I love em!

I use the Bum Genius 3.0 all in ones. Love them. Started with G diapers, got too expensive. So I decided to spend 200 bucks and buy a bunch of Bum Genius diapers I can use until my baby is potty trained (they go from 7lbs-35lbs). I love them! They never leak. Good luck!

ETA: i went to the thirsties site, and checked out the fitted. i think i'm interested in them... it says if i need a more "water tight system" i can just ad the cover to it? ... my daughter wets alot at night, so if the fitted didnt hold up , just put the cover on top of it and that'd probly work? wouldn't that be super bulky?

what is the difference between fitted & AIO ?

It's a lot of money up front, but long term much less than buying disposable every month or week however you buy it. I would calculate the amount you are or would spend on disposables first and show that to your hubby. That's what I did and he was like here's my card order them! ha ha And my baby girl was getting terrible rashes from the disposables. They have so many chemicals in them.

What is the difference between the fitted and the AIO?
Do you still need the Doublers/Inserts for them?
