Deployed Baby Daddy

Hey just looking for someone to talk to who may be going through the same thing as I my husband is in Kuwait right now going to Iraq in less then 2 weeks anyone else?

mines been gone for a year today. hes in iraq. how long is your hubby gone for?

He left June 15th and he won't be back until June 15th next year so he won't be here to see our baby born...

aww hopefully your husband will make it there to see you

well maybe he can take leave around the time of your due date. yeah hes supposed to be home just in time but you never know.. and it sucks not knowing!

Leave? I don't know....they wouldn't even let him come home to fight for his son who is being taken care of by the great grandmother because the mother lost custody.

My hubby is in Kuwait too. I got pregnant 6 days before he left this past Feb. I have basically done the whole pregnancy by myself. He should be home on R&R for the birth.

Yeah we were trying to get pregnant before he left I was pregnant Dec 2007 and had a miscarriage Feb 08 i was sooo upset i was like is there time still and he was like yeah and we got pregnant the next month

He wasn't suppose to go on this deployment and so we were trying up until we knew he was going. Then I guess we got a little carried away on Valentine's Day.

have him see if he can take his leave late dec. yeah it took ALOT of work to get my husband home from his first deployment. his father got cancer and it spread quickly. alex got home 3 days before he passed. but as long as they know ahead of time he should be able to get home.

...I hope he is letting them know but I don't even know if he is doing that....

yeah guys are weird. Alex told me that he has responsibilties and priorities over there. i didnt think he would talk to them about comin home early but he did and they agreed to let him come home a few weeks before everyone else.

you have no idea how weird my husband can be too lol
