can't stop being depressed...

Hi ladies, I am due with another girl on January 13th. My husband and I both wanted a boy this time and that will be it. We are not rich people and I really think that 2 kids is enough. I feel so bad about this. I keep telling myself that as long as the baby is healthy, but I just can't stop being depressed. Am I a bad mother?

no your not a bad mother.. but being pregnant should be one of the happiest times of your life.. im 16 pregnant with my first.. i llive with my boyfriend alone and im not aloud to work doctors orders and he only brings home 300 a week.. so we dont have the money for a child either but we brought him into this world and were not going to take him out ofit.. every child is different reguardless if its a boy or girl.. enjoy raising what you and your husband made together.. pregnancy is a gift.. nothing to be depressed about... maybe stretch marks and fat legs but other than that smile

I think it is natural for us all to sort of sway one way or the other when it comes to preference of boy or girl. We all know that deep down we really only care if the baby is healthy, but now especially that you know that this will be your last, it is only natural to kind of feel like you are missing out on that little boy.

I'm sorry to hear you are depressed. It's very hard raising kids emotionally and financially. Try not to worry yourself right now. God only gives us what we can handle. My older sister was worried when she found out she was pregnant with her third. I told her everything will be fine and things DID work out for them. They recently bought a puppy and those can be expensive too so things will workout. Just take care of yourself and what you have now. Don't compare yourself to others or anything. I'm sure you are a great mother to your child now. You will be great to the next one.   smiles

If it makes you feel any beter I really want a girl I have 3 boys right now so I know how you feel. If this is another boy I dont really want any more kids so I dont know what I am going to do. But if its a girl than I am so done so I to am stuck between a rock and hard place just keep thinking postive and just remember they could be wrong too!!!

thanks, but it was pretty sure it's a girl on the ultrasound
