Getting my 8week old to nap

I can't get my 8 week old daughter to nap without her being attached to my boob.....I have tried everything I can think of. She will only fall asleep while nursing and then when I try to take her off my boob she wakes up screaming and wont go back to sleep unless i put her back on my boob......i am going crazy!! This has been going on for at least a week now and she has never been a good napper and she is always craky from lack of sleep  
Any advice would be great.

swaddle and paci?

I have tried to switch with a paci real quick but she knows the difference and just spits it out. My poor boobs are getting sooo sore from her just using them to suck on. I am pretty sure this all started cuz I was trying to start supplementing with formula, I really dont think I am going to beable to do that cuz it has seemed to backfire on me cuz now she nurses more than ever.

what type of paci are you using?

my daughter iss the same way, well i don't breastfeed but she has to be held in order to go to sleep. and the second i put her down she wakes up. i would definitely try a paci, and you might have to try several until you find one that she likes. and try swaddling, doesn't work for my daughter but it might work for you! good luck!

I was using soothie ones and now she is using Nuk ones, she likes them when she is awake but nap time is another story.

the only one I could get my daughter to take was the Mam... works great... I tried all the other pacifiers and that was the only one that she would sleep with

Never heard of them, do you think Wla-mart has them?
I will go toget one when hubby gets home...i will try anything at this point...lol

those are the only ones my daughter will take too
