My sister wanted me to write a poem to read sometime during her wedding ceremony...so far here is what I have come up with. What do you think?



Many people here will tell you
Falling in love is not easy to do
But, believe me, all those people
Are wishing they were you

Two hearts will become one
When you gladly pledge your love
In front of family and your friends
And heaven up above

For it’s far easier for me to see
You’re blissfully giving your life
From the bottom of your heart
Standing before us as husband and wife

Your families are so proud
This I know is true, and I think
I speak for all of us when I say
No one deserves this more than you

Many days will pass you by
And years will come and go
But I’m confident the love you share
Will only continue to grow

And without a doubt, I believe
In a truth you both will share,
Just take a look by your side
And you’ll find the other there

Wow! That's all I can say. Its like a really really good speech at your wedding in poem form. Beautiful. I started tearing up just now. My best friends travelled down from Canada to my wedding and they wrote and played and sang a song for our wedding now if only I could get the words written down from her, we've been married almost 6 years and I have yet to get the words back from her. That's great, I'm sure she'll love it cuz I think its lovely.
