Getting pissed.

I've sent Medicaid my birth certificate THREE times. I got my medical card, so it obviously went through. I'm still getting letters saying that they need my proof of US citizenship, and on that stupid paper it says my birth certificate is one. Plus they have a copy of my lisence and my SSN. So what the eff. Anyone else go through this? I called my caseworker the last time and he said it was fixed, but what the hell do I keep getting this letter?

Medcaid has so many people to deal with they are always super behind or they fuck up info...I didn't even recieve my card untill my 6 weeks PP appointment..if they say they fixed its probably fine.

If it was supposedly fixed four months ago, I shouldn't still be getting letters, the last one is understandable, but getting another one, no. It's just annoying. haha.

They are like that, this is my second time on medicaid and my son has had medicaid since i had him. which he is about to be two in jan. I deal with these types of issues all the time, every 6 mos when u have to reapply. Basically it gets down to nothing you can do, they work on their time and act like they could care less about us who are receiving services from them

medicaid sucks thats all i can say lol i applied and send in a bunch of papers and stuff and they said they never got it and needed to apply again,so thats what i did and i actually applied twice that day...but honestly go over there and see whats going on because they are no help over the phone.

You know I want to tell you to call the customer service number but that never ever work the automated system just hangs up on u. I have been married for a year and some months now and when we got married i called them and asked them to send me a new card and they have yet to send it, i am now prego again and now can't get a card with my married name on it. My casework says there is nothing they can do and to call customer service. I would just advise you to relax and don't stress yourself over them cause that they will lead you to. If you turned in your info they will sooner or later catch up to you and update everything. They just do it on there time not when u need it done which sucks! As long as you know you turned in what they asked for you should be okay, it just takes forever, and they always send those stupid letters making you think they never recieved it b/c they to lazy to check and go through the thing people are turning in

I JUST got my first card, at 5 months pregnant and I applied for it when I applied for WIC, which was when I was six weeks.ha. I kept calling and they said that my card was sent out, but I never got anything. And I just got my September one, wonder where june, july's and augusts are? haha.

LOL...Yea they really suck i wonder if you can make a goverment complaint somewhere, or we may have to just wait to see whos president hopefully the next one will care enough to change things like that cause the last thing pregnant women need it stress, and that is exactly what they cause, in then they wanna have you on mom care with them to help keep ur pregnancy healthy when they are the ones causing the most stress...the letters normally stop after a few weeks, but hey you got a bad case of medicaid if they are still coming lol..but you should be str8 if you got a cardthat card means your in, and you can get your care
