My turn to Vent!!!!!

Ok....everyone else has had their chance to vent and seeing as how I'm so pissed off I can't hardly stand to be around myself I figured that I would vent to try and help calm myself down. Ok....here's the thing.......first off when I was growing up I had VERY strict parents who didn't let me go out to do things with friends or even like spend the night with them....God forbid I ever want to go to a party beacuse I would have been shot and hung up to warn my sister of what would happen if she wanted to do the same!!! Well I'm grown now....I'm married....and I have a baby on the way!!! Well in the past year or longer, my best friend from high school and I have kinda found our ways back to each other and have been hanging out. Well all of the sudden now that I'm pregnant this is a big no no with my DH or should I say Shit-head Husband (SHH) (sorry for the language)!! Well I've gone to a movie one night this week with my BFF and went to dinner and wal-mart with her last night and just beacuse it was 11 when I got home (beacuase she teaches dance and doesn't get out till late so we get a late start) I'm a bad wife!!!!! My husband is so controling and doesn't let me do anything!! I mean I could understand if I was out drinking up and getting wasted but do they let you do that at the movies and Wal-mart???? I don't think so!!!! Well we've just had this big blow out this morning and tonight hurricane hannah is supposed to hit our area and my BFF wants me to come stay with her so that way if her SO and my SHH have to get calleding into work (because they work together) we can hang out!!! Well SHH doesn't want to go so that means I can't go!!!! How about my pregnant happy ass will be at my BFF's house tonight and if he's got a problem with it then he should have come over there too!!! Does anyone else agree with me????

I agree completely he needs to pull that stick out of his ass and realize you're a grown woman If my husband ever pulled that I'd be over there in heart beat.

Does he have friends he hangs out with? If so, then he has no right to complain. Yes, he is your husband and supposed to be your best friend, but you still need OTHER people! Shoot, I go crazy if I can't hang out with my friends in a while. DH might complain a little bit, but it's mainly because he misses me when I go, lol. I say go and tell him that as much as you love him, you need to get out of the house and have a little fun as well. Ask him if he thinks it's the "norm" for wives to be required to stay home all day every day with their husbands and never go out with their friends.

He def. has friends that he hangs out with.......any Saturday or Sunday afternnon do you think he's at home with me.....NO!!! He's out and about hunting or doing guy stuff like that with his buddies and do I ever complain??? NO!! Because I understand that we have a baby coming and that after he or she gets here that's it's going to have to slow both him and me down so I don't mind the fact that he goes and does stuff. This sounds like something my husband would do. But I think he's doing it more for the attention. It sounds like you're giving your BFF a lot of attention lately and he's not use to it. So maybe you could look outside the box and think about what he might be feeling. You're pregnant, he can't do anything to "protect" you in your condition because you're not around him. Or maybe he's just feeling lonely. My hubby tends to be a jerk when I don't give him the time of day because of work/kids so I'm trying to make it a point to show him I do want to spend time with him and it's been working great. We've had more communication and our sex life has definately increased! lol   *happy dance* Sorry for playing devils advocate but I've been there a lot lately.

I would normally try to think about his needs but see me and my friend have been hanging out now for over a year and it's just all of the sudden become a problem in like the last week or two. We've been having problems since 6 months after we got married.....do you know what he did one night???.......I got me this sexy little night gown from victoria's secret and was laid out on the bed one night when he got home and do you know what he said when he walked in??? He said "Sup, homie" then walked right past me and then said "What are you doing?" Not in a fun or happy or sexy way.....he was mean about it. So I really have lost all patience with him! He doesn't care about me........maybe if I had a tv screen across my chest and playstation 2 controlers coming out of my butt then he would pay me some attention!!!!

oh one of those hubbys huh? I think if my hubby liked video games that much we would definately have a ton of problems (well a ton more) But I made it a point when we were dating that I abosultely HATE video games. And he wasn't really into them so I was lucky. But we've had problems since a little after 6 months of marriage too and we've tried to get through them. Some times better then others but still there are those issues there that hopefully will one day pass like everything else does. As for the sexy little outfit... I would have smacked him upside the head and walked outta the room. I didn't realize you were hanging out with your friend for a long time without a problem. Maybe he's having an internal issue if he's not treating you like a husband should treat is wife!
