I hope it stays a TS. It looks like it might turn into a cat 1 again. I know it isn't going to destroy anything. But where I live is an island and way below sea level. So I am more worried about our water and electric. Hopefully there isn't alot of flooding.

I am really nervous that we might miss alot of work if it hits here. We were out of the path, but now we are right back in the middle again. Its a little windy right now, maybe 20 mph winds. I am rushing to the grocery in a few to stock up on food and bottled water.

So pray that it will not reach hurricane statis. I hope ike doesn't turn up this way. I do not think our area could handle it. I don't think anyone could handle it at this point. I hope it turns out and just stays in the water. The down fall of the south.

i hope so too that it remains calm babe <3 GL keeps us posted

Ike WAS headed up towards Canada last time I looked, but my dad said there was one coming in behind Ike too, but not sure where it's headed. Keep us updated.

They are not sure where ike or josephine are going to go for sure. Ike might follow hanna or go up north like you said. So we will see.

I live in Miami and Ike is headed straight for us and will be a Cat 4 when it makes landfall which is huge!!! This is going to be really scary. Esp since I have a baby now.

My brother and SIL live in Homestead, Fl, they are freaking out about Ike. I hope it calms down

Yea.. I live close to Homestead. I'm on the southern part of Miami. I just saw the news and now they changed the tracked and it's supposed to go directly over the keys now!! They're going to have to evacuate!
