baby food..

I know I'm suppose to wait until my baby is 5 months to start giving her vegetables but I want to start so bad right now.. The cereal just tastes so bland and nasty (Yes I tasted it LOL) She is 4 and a half months old.. I went out and bought a whole bunch of stage 1 vegetables.. Green beans, squash, carrots... Did you ladies start a little earlier with the baby food? If so, how many times a day did you give your little one baby food? I think i'm going to give her cereal in the morning anda little jar of vegetables at night and then her milk.. Does this sound right?

Cora did cereal for about 2 weeks before adding fruit and veggies. She is 4 1/2 month ols now and has 2 jars of food a day, mixed withcereal.

I gave Jayden babyfood when he was 4 months old.
We started with the veggies first. Once we tried all veggies we moved onto the fruits.
Your baby will let you know if she's ready or not.
It wouldn't hurt to try.. I say go for it  

We started cereal at 4 months, and veggies a week later. (With the pedis go-ahead)
We are still on cereal and verggies. Im holding out on the fruit until shes eating more than once a day.

I would wait until she's been on rice cereal for a few more weeks (at least 5 months) and then do one vegetable once a day for 3-4 days to make sure she's not allergic to it.. You want to let her body adjust to digesting the cereal before introducing vegetables (or fruit for that matter!)

I started earlier.. theres nothing wrong with trying.. if she likes it then keep on going!!!

Okay im watchin this and taylor my son is 4 months and a week old...im gonna wait a few more weeks..but he's been eating cereal for probably 3 weeks now and he eats it wonderfully! We hardly get any on his chin and bib now! yay! So i can start by putting veggies in his cereal you say? when is the best feeding to do that with? Bed time maybe>? just curious!
