What if your baby's firsts....

we're all enjoyed by your evil mother-in-law?

I don't know if everyone of you saw you're baby's first but the evil mother-in-law watches the baby and charges me OF COURSE... to watch her...

then brags and laughs about how the baby smiled at HER first, grabbed onto a toy for the first time in front of her, rolled over for the first time, and lots of other first time things that I SHOULD have experienced with my baby who is two months old.

Am I being a whiner? It just doesn't seem fair and it pisses me off.

I would like to cross-reference to an old message I posted about the evil things this woman has said to me...

and then she brags... and acts like Mia is her baby.

It pisses me off.

oh yes your not whining...my mil is always teling everyone about how my son does this and that and you should see how he can do this..he did it for me the other day lol..you just gotta learn to pay no mind her...just act like she's not talking...when my MIL does it...i just say oh yeah and take my son and just talk to him and say stuff like "you do that all the time for me don't you" "you love your mommy""i bet you miss mommy all day" lol stuff like that to irritate her back..its always fun

id be pissed too. i never let anyone babysit becuase i dont want anyone to have time with him besides me. i have class twice a week whenmy mom watches him and once a week i go out ona date or soemthing by myself but thats IT. if someone else saw his firsts if have to find a way to brainwash them. my mom pretends hes her kid too. it makes me so mad. i bitch her out in public so people know shes trying to make themthink its her kid so she doesnt have to feel ashamed of me. ugh she makes me so mad.

ohhh i don't think its whining but it is bound to happen since you aren't with your kid all day. but it does suck that she's being such a bitch about things. i hate people who try to rub things in your face. i know when i had worked at a daycare, unless the parents asked we wouldn't tell them if they were doing those sorts of things so they would do them at home and the parents could come in and be like "omg guess what so and so did last night!!"

to begin with she sounds like a real witch to put it nicely, so more than likely she is lying and just telling you that stuff to try and make you feel bad at least thats what us sounds like to me..... i guess i got lucky because my mil is the complete opposite, i have to force money on her when she watches my girls and if she sees that im stressed or not feeling to good she will even come clean my house for me but alot of people say thats unusual because most mils are evil

how often is she with your MIL.. mine watches xavier often and adores him but never has pretended to act like his mom.. that would annoy me and make me! As for his firsts im pretty sure ive seen most.. if she has she hasnt bragged about it

That is sooo the way to go about doing things...one of my best friends...her son is 4 and a half months old and she started back to shcool "as a teacher" and she told the babysitter....whenever he starts to do something new...don't tell me about it...that way when he does it for me i"ll think its the first time!

My mother in law has only been over here like 5-6 times in the last 7 months, and she lives 2 blocks away! Sometimes I wish she'd come see Jacob more, because he loves her.She is "too busy"

My mother in law would watch my daughter once and a while, after a while she started introducing her to people as her babe and i was the one that gave birth......needless to say we moved far away and she dont see baby anymore! My hubby was pissed when her heard her say that and he snapped at her bad in the grocery store in front of one of the person. I had to walk awaywith my daughter.

But no u have every right to be pissed, you arenot whinin!!

awww that sucks dude. To be honest, that's how my own mom is. It really sucks but that's another whole ordeal. I think she's seen her five times maybe since Mia was born.
